He powers their electric car, keeps them warm when their power goes out, helps their garden flourish. That is, until their dog maims him. But he’ll be back. Because the Sun always comes back.

This video plays on the joke that, just as the Sun always rises, this oddly-positive human manifestation of him (or is it just a guy in a sun costume?) is equally as dependable. The metaphor enforces the theme that, even when traditional power sources fail, the Sun, and therefore, solar power, have your back.
